A long waterfall makes it’s way down the edge of High Stile in the Lake District National Park. A light dusting of snow near the top of the mountain made for a subtle tapestry of colours, almost as if the water was flowing from Winter to Autumn.
This silver birch on King’s How has obviously taken some gales in its time, judging by the lean going on. This was pretty much as good as the light got all weekend, some distant rays to add some quick interest to the scene.
Hodge Close III
A revisit to Hodge Close, in Spring this time, to see the changes in the trees since my last visit back in Winter. I was even treated to a rare bit of sunshine!
