Barley fields in the early summer are a lovely photographic subject. This one near Uffington in Oxfordshire rolls perfectly into the countryside behind it.
Oilseed & Lone Tree
A lone tree in a field of Oilseed Rape on The Ridgeway in Oxfordshire. Big shout out to Graham Norton (White Line Images) for the location tip off.
Bliss Tweed Mill
The Bliss Tweed Mill is a Grade II listed mill built in 1872 on the outskirts of Chipping Norton in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. It has since been converted into apartments, while keeping the original architecture. In the Spring the field comes alive as a wild flower meadow and makes for a beautiful foreground. I struck lucky on this visit, as there was only a few minutes of golden sunlight before the sun disappeared behind clouds for the rest of the evening.
