Snelsmore Common on the outskirts of Newbury is a location that I spend a lot of time at. A small area of heathland with a great mix of woodland and bracken ground. I like to think of it as a mini version of the New Forest, especially as it has semi wild ponies grazing the area. I spend my time watching the seasons change here, gorgeous purple heather, orange trees and bracken, frosty saplings and spring greens. It is a place that requires an intimate knowledge, the images are not always apparent until you explore deeper and get to know the location for all it holds.
